SANA Live Streams ISUOG's Endometriosis Course at Aboujaoude Hospital June 3 & 4, 2016

It was an intense 2 days for 18 physicians from all over Lebanon who gathered to hear the leading experts provide a comprehensive review of endometriosis. The delegates met at the Aboujaoude Hospital Auditorium for the 2 day live stream that also coincided with the ongoing 25th Anniversary celebrations of ISUOG. This is the 4th live stream  transmission of an ISUOG course here in Lebanon.

The live stream commenced at 11 AM Lebanon time with ISUOG Ambassador and SANA’s Reem S. Abu-Rustum, MD presenting ISUOG’s mission, outreach and programs and SANA Medical NGO’s goals and accomplishments over the past 5 years.

Again, it was surreal once the live transmission commenced and as one of the resident-attendees commented “this is live live”! The program was most comprehensive with several attendees commenting how much new knowledge was introduced, and that with all their travels and exposures, they had never heard most of the covered material. The experts brilliantly condensed years of practical experience and cutting-edge research as they presented the information in a beautiful manner. There was ample use of video clips which clearly illustrated key practical tips and pearls. In addition, attendees were able to post their questions directly online to the faculty in London.

As was the case with all previous live stream events, the feedback was most encouraging particularly as our internet connection worked seamlessly! The SANA/Aboujaouande team have every intention of continuing these educational activities, enabled by ISUOG and its most committed, dedicated team and its magnificent futuristic vision. ISUOG continues to have a lasting global imprint and continues to set the standard for the practice of ultrasound in all aspects of women’s healthcare. We look forward to a most exciting future in ultrasound education with much anticipation…
