Full obstetrical assessments were carried out inclusive of obstetrical sonograpghy. It was Dr. Rayan who scanned the patients today, under the guidance of SANA’s Reem S. Abu-Rustum, in accordance with the ISUOG 6-step approach. She assessed viablitiy, number of fetuses, placental location, amniotic fluid and presentation. In addition, she was able to obtain all the required anatomic planes and perform fetal measurements. Her skill and ability to manipulate the probe improved beautifully with each patient. The team redated 44% of the patients seen.
As usual, it was MSF’s Midwife Janine was ensuring all the patients got the followup and care they needed.
