It was a beautiful day as SANA headed back to Baalbek for the last medical/educational mission planned with MSF there.
Â
Dr. Huda Barakat was eagerly awaiting this last session. The day commenced with her scanning, once more, under the guidance of SANA’s Dr. Reem S. Abu-Rustum. Her progress, comfort and skill were ever so evident. She successfully passed the practical portion of the assessment required for certification in accordance with ISUOG Outreach Guidelines.

Â
This was the culmination of 9 months of training which had commenced back in February in which Dr. Huda completed both the theoretical and practical components of SANA’s training. She was awarded ISUOG Certification today.
Â
Dr. Reem presented Dr. Barakat with her certificate and proudly provided her with SANA’s pin.
Â
SANA is proud of Dr. Huda, her dedication and progress. SANA expresses its sincerest appreciation to Medecins Sans Frontieres for all the support, and of course to ISUOG Outreach for all the invaluable opportunities…
Â
At the end of a most gratifying day, the teams parted with an open ended commitment from SANA that should the need ever arise again, SANA will happily return back to Baalbek…
