It was another high risk clinic where SANA’s team provided comprehensive prenatal care to a multitude of patients ranging in age between 16 and 34 years. In addition, SANA carried out sonographic assessments on the patients and they were all scanned by trainee midwife Nariman under the guidance of SANA’s Reem S. Abu-Rustum in accordance with the 6-step approach. Nariman showed skill and dexterity and even diagnosed a set of twins. SANA redated 13% of the patients seen today.

As always, MSF’s midwife Zeinab accompanied SANA’s team and helped make all the necessary arrangements and follow ups for the patients and provided them with the needed supplements.
