SANA’s team carried out its first medical/educational mission to Dahieh today at the health dispensary of “Aamel Organization”. Accompanying SANA was Dr. Maha Ayoubi, MD, a 3rd year Ob/Gyn resident at the Lebanese University.
The patients today were between their 4th to 6th months of pregnancy. They ranged in age between 15 and 25 years all on their first or second pregnancies. Dr. Maha skillfully scanned all the patients in accordance with the ISUOG 6-Step approach, under the guidance of SANA’s Reem S. Abu-Rustum. It was a joy to watch her work systematically and confidently! SANA redated 50% of the patients seen today.
At the end of a most rewarding day, the team headed back home and plans were made for the next visit to Jabal Al Biddawi.Dahieh and the team travelled back home…
