It is with much pride that SANA celebrated today the completion of the training “The 6-Step Approach to Basic Obstetrical Sonography” in accordance with ISUOG Outreach Guidelines, to the nurses and midwives at the Governmental Hospital of Seer Al Dinnieh (GHSD).

Over the past 7 months, SANA carried out twice monthly didactic as well as hands-on training sessions to the team of midwives and nurses at the GHSD and today, those who successfully attended the required sessions, and demonstrated the required skill upon the completion of a practical examination, were awarded ISUOG Certificates in the “6 Step Approach to Basic Obstetrical Sonography” in the presence of Omar Fatfat MD, the Medical Director at the GHSD, Reem S. Abu-Rustum MD, President of SANA Medical NGO, Sameer E- Abu-Rustum MD, Secretary of SANA Medical NGO and Issam Elias DDS, Treasurer of SANA Medical NGO.

SANA remains committed to the future progress of the dedicated team at GHSD, as they carry out their extensive care and outreach all over the Dinnieh area, and SANA shall now plan monthly visits to the GHSD to oversee the progress of the team and to plan more advanced training.

In addition, the 9 trainees received SANA’s pin and officially became members of SANA Medical NGO where they shall now play a key role in the future, helping spread SANA’s teachings in accordance with ISUOG Outreach.
